Cook the fruit in water and sugar to a puree and pass through a sieve.
Dilute the cornflour in little milk and add the sugar.
Boil the reminder of the milk.
Pour on the diluted cornflour and stir well.
Return the mixture on low heat and stir until it boils.
Mix in the fruit puree.
Note: The quantity of mixture should not be less than one pint.
Pour into glass coups and allow it to set.
Decorate with whipped cream or non dairy cream .
